February 4th 2018 @ 2105hrs - Ambulance 717 & Engine 717 were dispatched for a crash on Sundown Road. Engine 717 arrived to find two vehicles, separate crashes, one vehicle off the road, into a creek with live wires down & the driver still inside. Rescue Squad 717 was requested & dispatched. Total of 3 patients. Chief 717-D [Baker] had the command. Crews had to wait for BG&E to arrive to shut the power off to extricate the one patient. Many thanks to the gentleman who were already on scene & placed salt down on the road so our apparatus could safely move into position. Other units that responded: Ambulance 728, Ambulance 740, Engine 728, Engine 740, & MCP. Two patients have been transported to local trauma centers. The gentleman in the vehicle shown was not injured. Our thoughts & best wishes to the patients involved.
