On March 2, 2020, Montgomery dispatched Tanker 717 and Engine 717 along with Companies 04, 40, 15, 21, and 28 to assist with a house fire on Brooke Rd. in Sandy Spring. Engine 704 arrived on scene with smoke showing from the 2nd floor. RID and a Water Supply Task Force was dispatched due to the area having no hydrants. Fortunately, both occupants were able to get out safely. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
