On August 11, 2014, Montgomery dispatched Company 17 units to the intersection of Woodfield Rd. and Fieldcrest Rd. for the PIC. Company 17 units arrived on scene to find a Ride-On Bus and a single vehicle involved in a t-bone collision. PE717 assumed command and requested for additional transport units and manpower. Fortunately, no patients were pinned or trapped in the vehicle. Once all patients were removed from the vehicle and bus, at least 6 patients were transported to local area hospitals for further evaluation. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
