At 1800 hours, while filling in for Co. 17, PE734 was dispatched for a brush fire in the 21800 Block of Zion Rd. PE734 arrived on scene to find about 2 acres of woods on fire. Due to the rough terrain and the fire 100 feet off the roadway, PE717, B717, W717, and C717E responded to assist. Crews worked for about 3 hours to make sure the fire was extinguished and there were no hot spots.
