There are a variety of ways that you can help our department:

Donate your vehicle

Far too often we are faced with having to remove a patient/(s) from a crumpled car after a vehicle collision.  We use every opportunity that we can to train on real vehicles so that we can become even more proficient at extrication.

Donate your house or abandoned building

Do you have a piece of property that is worth more than the house that is sitting on it?  If you are considering demolishing this dwelling, why not donate it to LDVFD for training?  There is no better training for firefighters than working in a live fire environment.  By donating your building, you will provide great training opportunities for the fire department and you will also reduce your demolition and cleanup costs for your project.
