Company 17 and numerous units from Montgomery County responded to this devastating house fire in Damascus on Sweet Cherry Lane. Units from Frederick and Carroll Counties also were sent. Engine 713 [Damascus] arrived first with heavy fire throughout the house. First in crews had challenges immediately with both exposure houses catching fire as well. Units were on scene for several hours. Our sincere thoughts are with the family.
