The Officers and Members of the Laytonsville District Volunteer Fire Department are saddened to learn of the passing of Past Chief of the Rockville Volunteer Fire Department and Past Volunteer Division Chief Alan Hinde.

Alan was an positive force in the volunteer service in Montgomery County. Everyone who knew Chief Hinde learned from him and his influence during his years of service.
