On Friday, March 26th, Chief Baker (C717D) along with Lieutenant Richard Gregory held an extrication drill for current members as well as for our new probationary members. The drill consisted of how to stabilize a vehicle, break the windows, cut battery wires, and using several extrication tools to remove a patient that would be trapped or pinned. Many of our new members were able to get lots of hands-on training with these tools. Our members continue to train even when they are not running calls as protocols are always changing. This allows the members to keep current on all their knowledge and skills.
