Companies 17 & 13 arrived to find an older farmhouse on a commercial property with severe damage throughout with no active fire, but with obvious signs of an explosion. With the assistance of the crews from 17 & 13, Rescue Squad 717s crew could visibly see a victim in the basement, they made entry and removed the victim. The victim has since been flown to a trauma center. Another patient who was walking away from the house when it exploded has been taken to an area hospital to be evaluated.
