Vehicle Crash with Fire on Damascus Road

On March 22, 2026, at 11:34 p.m., Rescue Squad 717, Chief 717, and Chief 717B responded to a vehicle crash at 8201 Damascus Road, along with Medic 713, Engine 713, Battalion 705, and EMS705.

The initial 911 caller reported a possible vehicle fire.

Engine 713 arrived on scene and found the vehicle fully involved with flames near a house. The incident was upgraded to a house fire at 11:37 p.m.

Additional units responded, including HC Engine 41, Engine 734, Engine 735, Engine 708, Engine 925, Tower 735, Truck 734, Tanker 717, HC Tanker 4, and Chief 713 at 11:39 p.m.

Command confirmed that the incident began as a vehicle crash, which resulted in a fire. The fire was quickly brought under control with no extension to the house by 11:45 p.m.

At 11:49 p.m., command reduced the assignment, holding Company 13, Engine 734, and Rescue Squad 717, while other units were released from the scene.
