On Saturday, August 23, 2014, at 1211 hrs., Montgomery dispatched Company 17 units to the Montgomery County Airpark for a plane crash. Units arrived on scene to find a small plane off the runway with one patient seriously injured. Rescue crews safely removed the patient from the plane and transported to a local hospital for further evaluation and treatment. The cause of the crash is still pending investigation.
