On September 13, 2014, at 1339 hrs., Montgomery dispatched Co. 17 units along with other area departments for a report of a plane off the runway at the Airpark. Co. 17 units arrived on the scene to find a small plane off the runway close to Woodfield Rd. Fire and EMS crews were able to get to the plane and check to see if anyone was injured. One patient had minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation.
