On September 25, 2014, at 1755 hrs., Montgomery dispatched Co. 17 units along with other area departments for a PIC with one vehicle overturned. Arriving units along with Montgomery County Police arrived on scene at 7100 Airpark Rd. to find a single vehicle overturned with one patient pinned. RS717's crew stabilized the vehicle and began to extricate the patient. Once the patient was extricated, the patient was transported by land to a local trauma center with serious injuries. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
