On January 27, 2022, at 1600 hrs., Montgomery dispatched Engine 717 along with other units from Gaithersburg, Rockville, Germantown, NIST, and Sandy Spring for a report of a townhouse fire at 506 Carousel Ct. First arriving units came to a middle row townhouse with heavy fire showing. Montgomery dispatched additional units for the RID, TF, and 2nd Alarm. Canteen 717 was also dispatched to assist at the scene. Units were able to knock the fire down and begin overhaul. All occupants in the townhouses that were affected were able to get out safely.
