Brush Fire in Co. 17’s First Due

On November 13, 2025, at 12:39 PM, Brush Engine 717 was dispatched to Meredith Drive and Muncaster Road for a brush fire in the woods.

Other units that responded were Rescue Engine 717, Brush 717, Tanker 717, Ambulance 717, Canteen 717, Engine 728, Engine 708, Engine 704, Engine 734, Tower 704, Brush 740, Brush 708, Brush UTV708, UTV725, UTV731, Tanker 713, Battalion 705, Duty Chief 700, Safety 700, FEI, MCP, and DNR were on the call.

Approximately 15 acres of woods burned up.

Command terminated and all fire/rescue units cleared at 4:20pm.
